Dynamical thermal response functions for strongly correlated one-dimensional systems: Hubbard and spinless fermion t-V model

چکیده
In this paper, we study the thermal response functions for two one-dimensional models, namely, the Hubbard and spinless fermion t-V model, respectively. By exactly diagonalizing finite sized systems, we calculate dynamical, electrical, thermoelectrical, and thermal conductivities via the Kubo formalism J. Phys. Soc. Jpn. 12, 57

Dynamical mean-field theory of strongly correlated fermion systems and the limit of infinite dimensions
We review the dynamical mean-field theory of strongly correlated electron systems which is based on a mapping of lattice models onto quantum impurity models subject to a self-consistency condition. This mapping is exact for models of correlated electrons in the limit of large lattice coordination (or infinite spatial dimensions). It extends the standard mean-field construction from classical st...
متن کاملTransport of one-dimensional interacting fermions through a barrier.
We study the transport properties of one-dimensional (1D) interacting Fermions through a barrier by numerically calculating the Kohn charge stiffness constant and the relative Drude weight. We find that the transport properties of the 1D Hubbard model are quite different from those of the 1D spinless Fermion model. For example, the presence of the attractive interaction between electrons in the...
متن کاملThe Hubbard Model, Spinless Fermions, and Ising Spins
The Hubbard model is used to study an electronic system at half filling. Starting from a functional integral representation the spinup Grassmann field is integrated out. It is shown that the resulting spinless fermion theory has an instantaneous cluster interaction, and that the spinless fermions are coupled to thermally fluctuating Ising spins. The coupling parameter of the spinless fermion in...
متن کاملElectronic transport in Si and Au monoatomic chains considering strongly correlation effect, a first principle study
We have investigated structure and electronic properties of Au and Si liner chains using the firstprinciplesplane wave pseudopotential method. The transport properties and conductance of these twoliner chains are studied using Landauer approaches based on density functional theory (DFT). Weobtain density of states and band gap using Kohn-Sham and Wannier functions as well as quantumconductivity...
متن کاملThermoelectric effects in a strongly correlated model for NaxCoO2
Thermal response functions of strongly correlated electron systems are of appreciable interest to the larger scientific community both theoretically and technologically. Here, we focus on the infinitely correlated t-J model on a geometrically frustrated two-dimensional triangular lattice. Using exact diagonalization on a finite sized system, we calculate the dynamical thermal response functions...
